Hi everyone,
Welcome to the Course Site for your Writing for New Media class. This term we are working on modules alongside existing videos and lectures for your online learning term.
These modules and all the readings will be put up on the class google drive. All pertinent links will also be posted on our Class Page on Facebook. Suffice it to say that for this term, what you are following and using as a guide as far as submissions and requirements are concerned is this Course Site and the Modules. Requirements detailed in the existing videos might not necessarily apply this term, but all the information about specific types of writing and specific media remain the same. For that reason, we are still using the videos for additional information and as a resource for what it is you need to do for this class.
This Course Site carries all the modules, and links to all readings and videos when necessary. But given our problems with connectivity, the prepared modules so far, as well as the readings, can all be downloaded as well from the class GDrive. I hope this means you don’t stress out when we lose the internet. As long as you save the files for back-up, you should be fine.
The Course Timeline also gives you a preliminary timeline for the term (until Midterms). These already include deadlines that you can use as a guide. Also detailed there are our synchronous sessions and what we will be discussing.
